At Madison Baptist Church, meaningful membership is close to our heart. We aren't seeking to draw a crowd or put on an event. The Church is the body of Christ. We are called to belong to one another, and we exist as a result of God's promises to us and the promises we make to one another.
To join Madison Baptist Church, there are three steps:
- Attend the Starting Point membership class. At this class, you'll learn all about MBC and your place here. Usually this class happens in a group setting, but sometimes exceptions are made for it to be done one-on-one.
- Membership interview with a pastor. Membership interviews aren't a test or an examination. They're an opportunity for us to meet you and hear how God saved you and is working in your life.
- Presentation to the church. Once you have met with our pastors and they've heard your Christian testimony, you may be presented to the church for a vote. The congregation always votes to accept new members. It's our way of saying, "Yes, you belong to us and are part of our covenant community."
